The NRL Re-Accreditation for Level 2 Sports Trainers requires that sports trainers participate in an update of their Provide First Aid certification, delivered by Sports Medicine Australia (RTO provider number 110086), providing 3 years of currency.  Prior to attending the 6 hour face to face course participants must complete a total of five online learning modules (approximately 6 hours pre-course work total) which can be accessed via your NRL course room: 1) three NRL online learning modules; 2) two SMA online learning modules.  All candidates who successfully complete the course will receive a digital Statement of Attainment issued by Sports Medicine Australia, for the units of competency: HLTAID003 Provide First Aid, incorporating HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
Pre-requisites
All candidates must hold a current Level 2 Sports Trainer Qualification that has been expired for no longer than 12 months.

 
Course Content
eLearning
Candidates will be required to complete 2 lots of eLearning. There will be some First Aid and CPR eLearning via the SMA learning centre. You will also be required to complete the NRL eLearning modules on Concussion and Safety in Rugby League.

Face to Face
Candidates will then be required to complete a 4 hour Face to Face session. 
Additional information
Please bring pen and paper, closed in footwear and a drink bottle. Please note meals are not provided as part of the course. Participants are encouraged to bring their own meals, snacks and water.
