Coaches of 8-9 year old's are required to complete this eLearning component as part of their coach accreditation requirements. The eLearning provides coaches with knowledge to help them create positive coaching environments that are focused on having fun, developing friendships, and focusing on fundamentals.   

This course is for coaches in Queensland, Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, and the Northern Territory. Coaches in New South Wales are required to complete a Modified Games Coaching Course. 
Course Content
The eLearning course has 6 sections for coaches to complete. Each of these sections provides information on how coaches can develop positive coaching environments. These sections include the following topics:
  • Overview of Coaching Children
  • The Role of the Coach
  • Developing Positive Relationships
  • Keeping Everyone Safe
  • Planning a Great environment for Learning
  • The Training Session
  • Game Day
Additional information
This eLearning is the first component of completing the Coach Accreditation requirements for coaches of 8-9 year old's. After you have completed this eLearning section of the course.
